How Qonsult remembers choices and measures product use

Essential privacy-choice cookies

Qonsult stores your privacy selection and an opaque consent-record id so the site can remember and audit your choice. These values do not record your browsing journey.

Optional analytics identifiers

After analytics is accepted, Qonsult creates a random visitor id in first-party browser storage and a session id for the current browsing session. These identifiers are used only for Qonsult first-party product analytics.

Session measurement

The site records page views, foreground active time, session start, last activity and browser close/page-hide signals. Close events use a browser beacon when available. If a close signal is missing, an inactive session is shown as an inferred timeout rather than a known close time.

Browser and device signals

With analytics permission, the site can record viewport and screen dimensions, browser and OS family, language, timezone, orientation, reduced-motion preference, touch capability and limited network-quality fields where supported. Analytics page paths exclude URL query strings.

Approximate geography

The server may use hosting-platform location headers to store coarse country, region and city fields. Product analytics does not persist a raw IP-address history and does not request precise browser GPS for this purpose.

No fingerprinting

Qonsult analytics does not intentionally use canvas, audio, WebGL, font or plugin enumeration to generate a persistent browser fingerprint.

Marketing category

The interface contains a separate marketing preference so future marketing features cannot silently reuse analytics permission. The current implementation does not activate a marketing tracker merely because this preference exists.
